Father
Robert Hart, Pastor, ext. 1563
bhart@churchofstpatrick.com
I grew up in the Chicago area, the youngest of three children. I
attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Ill and St. Thomas College
here in St. Paul, before spending almost 23 years working for Prudential
Insurance Company, in computer programming and facilities management.
Then God decided He had other plans for me. I was ordained in 2000, at
the age of 51 and spent the first two years of priesthood at the
Cathedral. My second and only other assignment was my eight years at
Transfiguration. I enjoy priesthood immensely and, in the words of Arch.
Flynn, “If I had a hundred lives to live, I would live them all as a
priest.”

Deacon John Vomastek,
Deacon
jvomastek@churchofstpatrick.com
I was ordained to the diaconate in September of 2010. Saint Patrick
is my first assignment as a deacon and I am very happy to be here. To be
a deacon is to be a servant. Being new here, I am starting my service
ministry with liturgical duties at Mass, along with baptisms, weddings
and funerals. I also have a second ministry at the Woodbury Health Care
Center, providing a communion service there. I am married and have six
children and one grandchild. The people of Saint Patrick have made me
feel so welcome and I am grateful for that.
